Keller's recent contract wins top £135 million
Keller Group PLC ('Keller') is the world's largest foundations expert with a presence in thirty countries.Recent contract wins reached £135.7 million. Of the wins, by value, the US accounted for 41%, the Continental Europe and Overseas region 33%, the UK 22% and Australia 4%. The specialist nature of the business results in many projects in progress at any one time. However, notable projects include the $23 million dam jet-grouting for Wickiup Safety of Dams Modification in the western United States; the $6 million contract for vibro-replacement to a southern United States power plant for Columbia Energy Center, the £2.2 million Surface Containment Wall contract for DEFRA in Cumbria and the €13.6 million Ipoh-Rawang ground improvement contract for the northern extension to the Kuala Lumpur railway. Tom Dobson, Keller Group plc Chief Executive, said: "Our recent contract wins reflect a very strong performance in North America where we have not yet experienced any slowdown. Furthermore, we envisage that the US will sustain spending on areas where Keller is particularly strong, including infrastructure, power and dams."
