Appointment of finance director
Further to the management changes announced on 7 March 2003, Keller Group plc (“Keller”), the global construction services company, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Hind as its new finance director, with effect from 15 July 2003. He will succeed Justin Atkinson, who has been appointed chief operating officer. James, 39, joins the Group from D S Smith plc, the international packaging manufacturer and office products wholesaler, where he has been group financial controller since 1997. After graduating from Cambridge University, James qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. His time at Coopers included two years in their New York office, advising on mergers & acquisitions, before completing five years as a senior manager in London. Tom Dobson, chief executive of Keller, commenting on the appointment, said: “We are delighted to welcome James whose appointment completes the management changes that we announced in March, bringing together continuity and a fresh perspective. “These changes will leave the Group in good shape to manage our continued global leadership in Foundation Services whilst leading the next stage of development of our Specialist Services businesses.” There is no information to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of paragraph 16.4(a) and 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the UK Listing Authority Listing Rules.
