New HSEQ manager for Keller

Keller has appointed a new HSEQ manager for NW Europe.

Simon Jones joins the company from Renewable Energy Systems in Kings Langley where he was Head of HSQE (RES TEC).

A civil engineer by profession, Simon gained his initial health and safety qualifications in 1995 and moved full time into health and safety 12 years ago.

Environmental and Quality qualifications have been added as his career has progressed. He now holds Chartered status with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Practitioner status with the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment plus Practitioner status with the Chartered Quality Institute.

He has worked for companies such as GallifordTry as a Health, Safety and Environment Adviser and as a Health and Safety Consultant (Construction) for Lloyds Employment Law Consultancy.

He will be responsible for HSEQ at Keller in the UK, Sweden and Finland as well UK subsidiary companies Phi Group, Colcrete Eurodrill and Getec.

“By joining Keller I feel as if I’m going back to my civil engineering roots,” said Simon.

“I have been involved in piling and soil stabilisation projects from my very early days in construction. Keller is a friendly international company with an excellent reputation that really appealed to me when the opportunity was presented.”
