Apprentice Storeperson

Keller are looking to employ an apprentice to work within our stores department.

Purpose of the Role

To assist the Storeperson in the efficient operations of the stores.


Key Roles and Responsibilities


Managing the stores counter.

Helping with goods received and dispatched.

Restocking shelves.

Parcelling goods for dispatch.

Logging goods received on system.

Checking despatch and delivery notes.

General housekeeping of the stores areas to ensure efficient and tidy.

Management and processing of documentation between workshops, stores and office.

Assist with the inspection and certification of lifting equipment.

Participate in any other stores related duties as required which will help the business to meet its objectives.



Work effectively with internal customers in the UK Plant department and site personnel.



Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.



Be mindful of waste.


Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes


Reading and numeracy skills.

Basic IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.



Counterbalance forklift ticket.

Previous experience in a plant or transport related office environment.


Personal Attributes

Good communicator.

Good timekeeping.

Flexibility, to be able to carry-out duties not part of the normal remit in the interests of the team.

Ability to work in a team.

Ability to multi task.
