Keller are looking to recruit an experienced Stores Person to work within the Stores Warehouse at our Headquarters in Ryton On Dunsmore, Coventry. If you feel that you match the below job description please apply!

Stock Controller

Purpose of the Role

To provide full support to the Stock Controller through assisting with all aspects of stock control in particular maintaining computer database and spreadsheets.


Key Roles and Responsibilities


Responsible for manning the stores counter and receiving and issuing stock.

Responsible for ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded on the computer system.

Parcelling goods for dispatch and be responsible for organising courier collections from the stores.

Ensuring stock is booked out and issuing items to be repaired.

Tracking of stock movements and investigation of stock discrepancies.

Inspecting lifting equipment for sites.

Assisting and taking part in regular stock takes.

Ensuring stock levels are replenished and meet the needs of the business.

Assisting Stock Controller with site stock requisitions.

Be responsible for general housekeeping of the Stores.

Providing holiday and absence cover for Stock Controller.

Manual handling of stock (loading and unloading, stocking shelves/bins).



Maintain a good relationship with the Plant department and Sites.



Communicate well with all stakeholders.

Prioritise activities effectively.

Work to and actively promote “The Keller Way”.

Understand cost control.


Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes


IT Literate in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Ability to work as a team and autonomously.

Basic Admin skills including filing and telephone communication.

Good numerical skills.

Experience of working in a Stores environment.



Fork lift licence.

Full UK driving licence.

Experience of using Evision software.

Experience in inspecting lifting accessories.


Personal Attributes

Flexibility to carry out duties not part of the normal remit in the interests of the team.

Good communication skills.

Team worker.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Problem Solving.

Outgoing and Friendly.
