Learning and development

At Keller, we invest in our people's professional and personal development, providing a challenging environment where they can apply their skills, broaden their experience and achieve their career aspirations.

learning and development

We believe development is about more than improving business performance. Work should be challenging, rewarding and stimulating, offering opportunities to overcome obstacles, build confidence and develop new skills.

That's why we ensure employees across all areas of the business have regular opportunities to learn, grow and progress.

Our learning and development programmes cover technical, safety and competency-based training alongside leadership and management development for aspiring and experienced managers.

Through the Keller Academy and other global learning initiatives, employees also have access to a range of professional and personal development opportunities designed to support long-term career growth.

In addition to group training programmes, development is tailored to individual needs. Training requirements are identified through regular performance and development discussions, career planning and talent review processes, ensuring our people receive the support they need to succeed.

We actively support employees in achieving professional qualifications and memberships relevant to their roles, including:

  • Accounts: Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Engineering Design and CAD: AutoCAD training, including 2D AutoCAD and Parametric Modelling
  • Procurement and Supply Chain: Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
  • Engineering: Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) training agreements and professional membership
  • Human Resources: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
  • Quantity Surveying: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) membership and HNC Civil Engineering qualifications

Our Organisational Development team also oversees mandatory training, vocational qualifications, performances and development reviews, talent management activities and leadership development programmes, helping to build capability across the business and support future career progression.
